Work oriented day
The clubhouse’s activities are structured around a work oriented day. In Porvoo Clubhouse work oriented day, you can participate in office, kitchen and administrative work. The work oriented day day binds members and staff side by side to manage Clubhouses’ operations. The clubhouse focuses on the members’ strengths and abilities. Everyone has the opportunity to participate in a work oriented day, regardless of functional ability. The clubhouse works with the members’ work, everyone is needed and even a small task is meaningful for the community. The clubhouse’s work oriented day day includes internal training activities that make use of the members’ skills and abilities.
Transitional work
Clubhouse has its own transitional work program that gives the opportunity to work on the open labor market as a member’s right. In accordance with international quality recommendations, the transitional work program meets the following basic criteria:
Transitional work is part-time work and temporary work at a performance level in the service of employers outside Clubhouse, which does not require special training in the field. The employer pays the employee at least the minimum wage according to the collective agreement in each area.
In the case of temporary employment, the employer and the temporary employee enter into an employment relationship that binds the employer and the employee to follow the collective agreement.
The staff and members of Clubhouse are responsible for the transitional jobs, as well as the selection and training of transitional employees is the responsibility of Clubhouse.
It is also possible to hire members of the Porvoo Club House through EskoTyö.

Group and evening programs
Development days are organized twice a year at the Borgå clubhouse, where the community develops its activities and determines the content of groups and evening programs for the spring and autumn seasons. By participating in the development days, you have the opportunity to influence all the house’s activities, as well as the content of the groups and evening programs. At the moment, ”Taitonurkka”, two ICT groups, ”Laatutiimi” and ”Luova iltapäivä” are running at Clubhouse. Feel free to come up with your own ideas!
Trips
Clubhouse members organize trips of various levels. As a member, you can be involved in deciding how and what kinds of trips are organized.
